When shipping to Canada, FGX typically suggests using air freight. It’s quicker and makes it easier to plan the exact times and dates that equipment will arrive. However, when necessary, FGX can provide trucking services to fit our clients’ needs.
Do I need an Importer of Record service for shipping into Canada?
Yes, you will need am Importer of Record when shipping into Canada from the US. Canada is a popular location for U.S. companies to have a local entity with import capabilities. FGX is happy to assist our clients in acting as their own Importer of Record when possible. If you do not have import capabilities in Canada, FGX can provide Importer of Record services as part of our door-to-data center service.
