Main Feature Updates

New: Magic Linking

We’ve made signing in easier by introducing magic links, which is now the default login option for all users. After you enter and submit your FGX Platform email address, you’ll receive a sign-in link in your inbox, which remains active for five minutes. You'll still have the option to login with your password.

New: Reports Feature

We've released a powerful reporting feature which will allow you to pull detailed reports about your Quotes, Shipments, Sites, and Entities. You can easily filter reports based on a shipment's status, booked date ranges, as well as your Sites and Entities. This makes it easy for you to pull information about your ecosystem with granularity, for example, exporting all of your customs and shipping documentation for shipments by their Sites — all with one click! Reports will be exportable as CSV.

New: Inventory

We’ve introduced the Inventory feature, which gives you a complete overview of your company’s IT hardware. You’ll also be able to quickly find hardware by filtering by part number, category, project, equipment number, or location.

You’ll be able to ship an IT asset from its Site or address to a destination by selecting items and submitting a Pull Request. You can also track all outstanding Pull Requests.

Other Improvements:

1. Booking Shipments - When you book a shipment, the FGX Platform will now properly populate origin and destination addresses, as well as exporter and importer consignment information.

2. Requesting Quotes - You can now add files to a shipment when you’re requesting a quote in the FGX platform. Use this to provide us with data sheets, technical specifications, or any other kinds of documents you’d like to share with us.

3. UI Updates - We updated the home screen display for when you have no outstanding Action Items in the platform.

Bug Fixes:

1. Labels no longer clip through the text when the text becomes long enough that scrolling is necessary.

2. Files no longer get duplicated when booking a shipment.

3. The global search bar will no longer persist after you've selected an option in the modal.

4. The bill of materials input screen in the platform now correctly displays the unit and total values submitted.
