Pre-shipment Documentation
Unlike other countries in Latin America, Ecuador does not have any special documentation requirements for telecommunications equipment. However, Ecuador is strict about fair valuations for items being imported. You will also need to provide customs with data sheets and commodity codes. Data sheets are requested directly from OEMs. If you do not have the data sheets available, FGX can help you obtain them.
Taxation
Taxes can be one of the most expensive components of executing a shipment to Latin America in general, and Ecuador is no different.
