Importer of Record
Like other locations in Europe, utilizing Importer of Record services in the Czech Republic is common. If you have an eligible entity with an import license, FGX can help you act as your own Importer of Record and assist in the VAT reclamation process once your shipment is finalized. If you are not eligible to act as your own Importer of Record or prefer to utilize an Importer of Record service, FGX can provide our services as part of our supply-chain solutions.
EORI
You will need an EORI number for any imports into the EU. Your EORI number allows customs to track your shipment throughout Europe and is an extension of your VAT number. Registering for your own VAT ID in the Czech Republic will enable you to submit VAT reclamations on eligible imports. Please read our VAT reclamation article here for more information.
IT Shipping & Logistics
