Clean Program

Clean Program is a nutraceutical company selling one of the most successful detoxification products on the market.

Challenge

Albert Bitton, founding partner of The Clean Program Corp, came to FGX with a pressing issue, The Clean Program Corp needed to service the international market. The Clean team was receiving 100’s of inquiries via email from prospective customers, but didn’t have the tools to service them.

The challenge was finding a company that understood the international regulations on pharamaceutical/nutraceutical products, and how to manage the regulatory landscape to aid in Albert’s mission of “Cleaning” as many people as possible. The level of Service that the Clean Program provides it’s customers is VERY high, the hub-and-spoke carriers that Albert was using domestically weren’t capable of providing a solution that mirrored the Clean Programs demands (regarding service quality or logistical capability) to meet the international demand that was building.

Ohh, and did we mention that the program includes a pro-biotic that must be refrigerated in transit?

Solution

After fully studying the shipping needs of the Clean Program it was clear that Albert had found the right company for the job, FGX. FGX provided a tiered list of destination countries broken down by regulatory complexity and cost, then planned for a focused fulfillment roll-out for international shipping. FGX captured all data associated with each tier one country and used that as benchmarking data for subsequent tiers. After 90 days FGX had researched and successfully tested each country that had shown interest in the Clean Program products.

FGX’s direct shipping methodology allows Clean Program to increase chain of custody while decreasing transit time. This allows the Clean Program to ensure the viability of their pro-biotic products.

Next, FGX linked its API/Web services platform into Clean Program’s proprietary system so that each order would generate a shipping air waybill that could then be passed electronically to the buyer of the goods.

The Clean Program, who had trouble supporting international orders at all, is now shipping internationally every single day. Their international segment is quickly becoming the fastest growing part of the company. Their costs have become controlled and predictable, aiding in the scalability of sharing their product with the word, in turn helping Albert reach his dream of “Cleaning the World”.
